As You Like It
Restrained by the rigidity of the court Orlando, Rosalind, and Celia escape a cruel duke by retreating to the forest. By taking risks and severing their bonds they find happiness.
The play opens in early spring, mid-18th century Europe. Beginning in a strict and rigid court. Later the action takes place in an inviting and playful forest as the season warms.

Renderings
All renderings for this production were done digitally. First, the scenery was drafted three-dimensionally in Vectorworks. Then a .jpg was exported into Adobe Sketch for the iPad. From there it was colored and rendered. Finally. it was exported to Adobe Photoshop where the floor treatment was added to the final versions.
Research
Research for this production was curated on Pinterest and then those boards were shared with the production team. Themes explored included knots and rope, trees and roots, and the Globe Theater.
